Wow is the best word to describe my excitement and appreciation for each educator dedicated to the Osceola School District! In this week’s Osceola Seminole Success story, I am highlighting North Elementary and Carroll Smith Elementary! Superintendent Formal Letter

Today, both schools have been awarded for Outstanding Educational Performance for BEATING THE ODDS. Both schools are recognized as Elementary schools. The Office for Education Policy recognizes that at least 66% of our student body experiences being at risk of high poverty. Osceola’s elementary schools now rank number 4 in the region as BEATING THE ODDS by experiencing High Math Growth on the ACT Aspire examinations for the 2022-23 academic year.

Our educators are working overtime in the classroom with our students and continuously receiving continued education to ensure our students demonstrate high student growth regardless of their economic status and additional limitations.

I am aware of the huge sacrifice many of our educators make when they dedicate their time not only to elevating their skills but also to cultivate the relationships with our parents and community. These are the moments we look forward to sharing and that make our dedication worth it!

As we move into our second quarter of the school year, I would like for us to reflect on how we can continue to BEAT THE ODD Brick by Brick.
