North/ March Students of the Month Congratulations to March Students of the Month! Students were treated to a special lunch with Dr. Toriano Green and Dr. Renata Bryant. Special thanks to Osceola Huddle House for sponsoring this special event each month. # brickbybrick

North/ President Election Mrs. Wilson's class Kindergarten students completed a unit of study about presidents. As a culminating activity, students made campaign posters. The class conducted an election and the votes are being counted. The class results will be announced Monday. However the projected winner is Emeriya Perez. #brickbybrick

North/ Paraprofessionals Appreciation North Elementary appreciates our Paraprofessionals by sending the team for lunch to MiPueblo's as we celebrate Paraprofessionals Day! You are valued for all you do for our students! #brickbybrick

North/ Earth Day Every Day North students have been learning how to take care of the Earth by recycling and planting seeds. Thanks to Big River Steel and Michelle Vachon for donating armbands made from plantable promotional seed paper that is 100% biodegradable and made from recycled paper. With its natural finish and seedy texture, these Seed Paper Wristbands can be planted and transformed into wildflowers. #brickbybrick

North/ Osceola Brotherhood Thank you to Osceola Brotherhood for providing bicycles each month as an attendance incentive for our students to be at school everyday. Lucky winners for the month of March were Weston Simmons and Caniyah Davis. 2 more opportunities for your child to win a bike. Help us finish strong by coming to school every day! #brickbybrick

North/ Easter Kindness North Elementary and Harris Healthcare partnered to make this year's egg hunts special for our students. Students showed kindness by making Easter cards, signs, and artwork for the residents. #brickbybrick

North Elementary/ Easter North Elementary held its annual Easter Egg Hunts today in the school cafeteria. Special thanks to our Easter Bunny (Tyler Bell), Harris Healthcare, True Grace Gospel, and North Parents for making this event special for our students. #brickbybrick

Good Friday/ PD Day Osceola School District will be closed Friday, April 7, 2023 for Good Friday. Students will also be out on Monday, April 10, 2023 for staff development. Students will return at normal time on Tuesday, April 11, 2023. #brickbybrick

OSD / Threat of severe weather Tomorrow afternoon Friday, March 31, 2023, there is a threat of severe weather moving into the area close to dismissal time. Our top priority is to keep students and staff safe. If you choose to check your child(ren) out early, the early check out for Friday, March 31, 2023 will be excused. District administration will be monitoring the weather throughout the day. Please be prepared for a possible early release should it be deemed necessary based on expected weather conditions. #brickbybrick
