Teacher Appreciation Week!
This week we celebrate and honor our teachers. We appreciate your passion for teaching children and young adults not only what they need to learn, but also how to learn and how to find the meaning and joy in learning. Teachers, please take a moment to pause and realize that the impact you have on the Osceola School District and beyond will continue long after you close your last gradebook. Thank you and enjoy the rest of the school year.

Arkansas school districts are Constitutionally required to post their current millage rate on the annual school election ballot each year, and voters can vote “For Tax” or “Against Tax”. If the District is not trying to change the millage, the vote is immaterial. If it passes it stays the same, and if it fails it remains the same as it was. If a district’s millage does not change, an increase or decrease in your property assessment value is the only thing that would affect the property taxes you owe.
