OHS/OHS STUDENT FEATURED IN EQ MAGAZINE
Kadan Newson, OHS junior and EAST student, is featured in the latest issue of EQ magazine. Kadan won the logo competition for EASTCon23 and was also chosen to be on the EASTCon23 Tech Team.
Kadan is the first EAST student from OHS to win the logo competition.
Kadan along with numerous other EAST students around the state applied to be on the Tech Team. Only 6 were chosen, Kadan is the only student from Mississippi County chosen for the Tech Team. During EAST conference the tech team is the glue that holds the conference together, only the best of the best are chosen!

OHS/NOLES INCENTIVES
As part of our effort to address learning loss, Osceola High School is utilizing targeted instruction during Nurturing Our Students to Emerge Successful (NOLES) time. For the 2nd 9 weeks, 9th and 10th graders had a goal of passing 15 Reading and 20 Math personalized instruction lessons in i-Ready.
Students who passed 30 lessons were rewarded with a pizza party sponsored by Curriculum Associates.
Students who passed 35 lessons earned a NOLES hoodie.
Students who passed 40 or more lessons were invited to attend the Memphis Grizzlies vs Phoenix Suns professional basketball game on Martin Luther King Jr Day.

AF JROTC Valentine's Day Court information!


Congratulations to Diary Harris on being accepted to multiple colleges!


On Thursday, the 5th of January, the Osceola High School AF JROTC participated in the Inauguration for incoming Osceola Mayor Joe Harris Jr. The Cadets, led by Cadet Commander Kayla Newson, posted the Colors, sang the National Anthem, and recited the Pledge of Allegiance. Cadets Tykeea Hendrix and Leonard Lax sang "You Know My Name" by Tasha Cobbs Leonard, to set the mood for the audience. A big shout out to ALL of the Cadets that were involved in this historic event! Kayla Newson, Marquesha Murphy, Nakayla Dancy, Keymya Parker, Anyla Flie, Tykeea Hendrix, Leonard Lax, Brea Rucker, and TJ Miller. GREAT JOB CADETS!!!

Seminole Basketball update - Due to the threat of inclement weather, the basketball game scheduled for Thursday Dec 22 at Blytheville has been cancelled.

Seminole Basketball Fans - Due to technical difficulties with our shot clocks, the basketball home game scheduled for tonight against Harrisburg has been moved to Harrisburg. We will swap home dates and will play them at home on January 24.
Tonights game at Harrisburg will start with a 7th grade game at 5:00 PM with the Jr. High game to follow, ending the night with the Sr High Seminoles.
Come out and support our athletes and please share.
