Osceola High School Student Bus Update
This afternoon, a group of Osceola High School students returning from ANC College on the Blytheville campus experienced a significant delay due to a major traffic accident. Please note that neither our school nor our students were involved in the accident.
As a result of the traffic jam, the bus was held up for an extended time, and unfortunately, students were unable to have lunch. With the assistance of the Osceola Police Department, Arkansas State Troopers, and Highway Patrol, the bus was safely rerouted and is now on its way back to campus.
Once the bus arrives, we will provide food for our students as quickly as possible.
We truly appreciate the cooperation of law enforcement in helping resolve this situation and thank our parents for their patience and understanding as we worked to ensure our students’ safe return.

Hispanic Heritage Month Student Spotlight
Meet Anthony Gonzalez-Oliva, a 9th grader at Osceola High School.
Anthony moved from Cuba to Osceola in 2023. When he first arrived, he spoke no English—but through hard work and determination, he is now fluent! His favorite food is rice with pork, and what he loves most about being Hispanic is having the gift of knowing two languages.
We are so proud of Anthony and celebrate the incredible contributions he and other Hispanic students bring to our district every day.

Keep shining, Kindergarten! 🌟💜💛 #webleedpurpleandgold

North/ Kindergarten ELA 📚✨ This afternoon in Mrs. Razor’s Kindergarten class, we wrapped up Unit 1 on Nursery Rhymes with Jack and Jill! 🪣👧👦 Students colored the main characters and events, placed them in sequential order, glued them down, and proudly recited the rhyme together. What a fun way to learn sequencing and celebrate our hard work! 🌟💛💜#webleedpurpleandgold

North/ PreK
👏 We are so proud of our PreK students in Ms. Harris and Mrs. Kim's class! They have been working hard on learning the sounds of letters, and many have reached proficiency on our scale of 6 sounds. 🌟📚 This is such an important step in becoming strong readers and writers. Keep up the great work, PreK!

💜💛 Osceola School Family & Community — A Note About Our Events 💛💜
At Osceola, we take pride in creating a safe, welcoming, and spirited environment for our students, families, and community. As we cheer on our young people together, we ask for your partnership in helping us keep that environment strong.
Here are a few ways we can all support one another at extracurricular events:
🎒Clear Bags for Safety
To help us keep everyone secure, please remember our clear bag policy for all who enter.
👨👩👧 Students & Families Together
Students in grades PreK–5 should stay with their parent/guardian at all times, even when heading to restrooms or concession stands.
Students in grades 6 and up may attend without a parent present, but we encourage families to have conversations beforehand about what positive, respectful behavior looks like.
Guests who are not Osceola students and under 18 should be accompanied by a parent or guardian age 21 or older.
🎓 Student IDs
We also ask that our high school students wear their school IDs while at events.
📣 Cheering with Pride
We love passionate support for our athletes! At the same time, let’s model sportsmanship by keeping our words encouraging and respectful. If negative or inappropriate language is used, we may need to step in to keep the environment positive for all.
Together, we’re not just fans — we’re a family. When we follow these practices, we show that “rowing as one” isn’t just something we say, it’s something we live. Thank you for helping us make Osceola events safe, supportive, and enjoyable for everyone!
💜 Go Seminoles! 💛
