Osceola School District Staff Completes PCM Recertification!
The Osceola School District team recently participated in their annual Professional Crisis Management (PCM) Recertification class, a vital 7-hour training required to maintain their certification in good standing.
This comprehensive course included:
Physical Procedures Practice: Refreshing essential techniques to effectively manage crises.
Focus on Key Strategies:
Prevention: Proactive steps to avoid crises.
De-escalation: Techniques to manage heightened situations calmly.
Post-Crisis Recovery: Ensuring a safe and supportive return to normalcy.
To complete the class, participants demonstrated their expertise through rigorous written and practical tests.

Support Service/Sweet Potato Pie Fun
Ms. Brown and Mrs. Scott's class had an amazing time learning how to make delicious sweet potato pies! Each student got hands-on experience, from peeling and mashing fresh sweet potatoes to mixing the perfect pie filling.
In small groups, students worked together, measuring ingredients and assembling their pies with care. It was so inspiring to see teamwork and creativity in action! 🎉
After baking, each student took home their very own pie to share with family for the holiday. We hope everyone enjoys these tasty creations and cherishes this special time together.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this activity a success! Wishing all our families a warm and joyful Thanksgiving!
