Osceola School District Monthly Board Meeting
The Osceola School District’s regular monthly School Board meeting will be held on Monday, November 11, at 6:00 PM.
Prior to the meeting, there will be:
A termination hearing starting at 5:30 PM
An expulsion hearing at 5:45 PM

This innovative addition is all about promoting a love for reading and rewarding students with the gift of books. Each book is a chance for our students to expand their minds and explore new worlds. Special thanks to everyone who made this possible!

Today’s Bowling Adventure at Hijinx in Jonesboro!
Today, our students had an amazing time bowling at Hijinx in Jonesboro! They not only enjoyed a fun outing but also practiced some valuable skills:
Motor Skills Development:
Hand-Eye Coordination: Aiming for the pins and rolling the ball helped students enhance their hand-eye coordination.
Balance and Coordination: Approaching the lane and delivering the ball improved their balance and overall coordination.
Math Skills
Addition and Subtraction: Students practiced adding scores for each frame, learning about cumulative scoring in a fun way.
Teamwork and Social Skills:
Collaboration: Working in teams taught students about communication and support.
Sportsmanship: We encourage good sportsmanship—celebrating each other's successes and handling losses gracefully.
Problem-Solving Skills:
Strategy Development: Students explored different approaches to improve their scores by adjusting their stance or aiming technique.
This outing was a perfect mix of learning and fun, helping our students grow in many ways. Way to go, everyone!

Upcoming Legal Clinics in Mississippi County!
Legal Aid of Arkansas will be hosting two free legal clinics in Mississippi County to provide assistance on important legal matters:
Record Sealing Clinic
Arkansas Northeastern College in Blytheville
Wednesday, November 13th, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Attendees will receive guidance on sealing criminal records, removing them from public view. Participants are encouraged to bring their sentencing orders or disposition sheets to ensure Legal Aid attorneys have the necessary information to assist effectively.
Estate Planning Clinic
Manila Senior Center
Thursday, November 14th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This clinic will offer guidance on services like will preparation, powers of attorney, living wills, beneficiary deeds, and more.
Anyone interested in attending either clinic should register in advance by calling 870-972-9224, ext. 4324.
