Star Academy / Student Engagement
STAR Academy has provided a variety of instructional strategies this 1st nine weeks such as:
*Students experience hands-on experience through science modules.
*Students work on reading comprehension deficiencies with our word/ text training.
*Students work on Math skills through the I'Learn program and
*Working on Literacy skills through the History content.
*Exposing students to Grade level text to help build vocabulary

Professional Development
Willing Ways, Inc. provided a very informative professional development about inclusive practices relating to academics and behavior. The goal for today's professional development was for the staff to gain more information, strategies and resources to help them to become more successful with meeting the needs of their students.

OSD/ Osceola Clean Up Day
The city coordinated a big clean up day and programs within the school district got into action!! We had representation from the Ladies of OHS, Star Academy students, and the Lady Seminoles girls basketball team. We appreciate everyone that took time out of their morning to make Osceola a cleaner place! #brickbybrick
North/ Custodian Appreciation

North/ Nursery Rhyme Olympics
North students participated in a Nursery Rhyme Olympics where each student rotated to the four classrooms, listened to two nursery rhymes, and completed related activities.#brickbybrick

Exciting News! Boys & Girls Club of Mississippi County is hosting a Fall Break Program September 25-29, 2023 from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Students will get meals, snacks, and a day full of activities for just $10 a day per child
Students must be registered to attend.
