Arkansas school districts are Constitutionally required to post their current millage rate on the annual school election ballot each year, and voters can vote “For Tax” or “Against Tax”.  If the District is not trying to change the millage, the vote is immaterial.  If it passes it stays the same, and if it fails it remains the same as it was.  If a district’s millage does not change, an increase or decrease in your property assessment value is the only thing that would affect the property taxes you owe. #brickbybrick

Choices & Star Academy/ Students Team Building Activity The Choices Learning Center would like to thank all of the students and staff who lended a hand with the team building above- ground garden project. Our students got an opportunity to integrate math skills, life skills and problem-solving skills throughout this project. We took a real life experience and students learned how to work collaboratively to build a planter stand. They were taught how to use a drill properly and how to measure the distance between each pole using a tape measure. The students had to work together and problem solve In order to complete this task correctly. We would like personally thank Mr. Webster for stepping in and showing our students how to make sure each side horizontally were equal by utilizing a leveler. His expertise and knowledge was a great help with making sure our students were successful with their project. #brickbybrick
