11th grade students Torian Bell, LaShya Harris, Kayla Newson, Logan Slayton, and Sara Wright represented OHS as part of the 4H Youth Leadership Program. Students attended leadership meetings monthly where they learned important leadership skills. Today students presented their service projects and received awards for presentations and essays. Logan Slayton won 1st place, and LaShya Harris won 3rd place for their essays which earned them scholarships. OHS is proud of the work that these students have done. Thank you Ms. Hoskins for your hard work as well. Good job Youth Leadership Team!!!

The Osceola School District is closely monitoring the weather today, March 30, 2022. There are chances of high winds and severe weather beginning midday. The timing of these storms could disrupt our normal dismissal time. In the event this should occur, for the safety of ours students and staff, it may be necessary to hold students past normal dismissal times until the threat of high winds pass. We will update you if dismissal times vary. Parents may pick up their children if they feel more comfortable doing so before the storm arrives.

7th, 8th, and 9th grade boys and girls will have Track and Field tryouts February 15th, 16th, 17th, 22nd, 23rd, and 24th. Any student who is trying out will need their own transportation home between 4:45pm and 5:00pm each day. A parent meeting is scheduled for Monday, March 14th in the OHS cafeteria at 4:30pm; for parents who have not attended a parent athletic meeting for this school year.
Seminole Basketball: Saturday February 12, 2022 games at Rivercrest. The boys conclusion of the game stopped for bad weather, will be at 3:00pm Admission to this game is Free. After the boys game, the gym will be cleared and you will have to purchase a ticket to the girls game if you want to stay and watch. This is coming from Rivercrest Athletic Director Johnny Flemming.
