CSE/Spring Dance
CSE will have a “Sneaker Ball” (spring dance) on March 31st. The Sneaker Ball Court will be presented along with the crowning of Mr. and Ms. CSE beginning at 6:30 p.m. The dance will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A letter and flyer containing more information about the dance will be sent home with students.
We are so excited about this dance and look forward to our kiddos having a great time!

OSD/ Choices Learning Center visits National Civil Rights Museum
We would like to thank the OSD for giving our students the opportunity to learn about the Civil Right Movement and the great impact it had on the African-American culture and history. Our students toured the National Civil Rights museum and learned about slavery, boycotts, separate but equal laws, and stood right on the grounds where the GREAT Dr. Martin Luther King was assassinated.
This was a perfect year for Black History Month because the year 2023 commemorates the 60 year anniversary for the Civil Rights Movement and the 55th year anniversary of the Memphis Sanitation Strike!

OSD/Support Services
The Osceola School District Support Service Department participated in the Area 13 Special Olympics Basketball Individual Skills Competition. Our Kindergarten-11th grade students enjoyed all the different activities that were presented today. Thank you Gosnell School District sponsors who coordinated this event and Blytheville School District for hosting it.

The OHS Band is having a fish fry fundraiser on Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 11am-5pm at Osceola High School in the Home Economics Room. Their will be a special performance at 2pm by the Mighty Marching Seminoles Band.

Osceola School District is having Parent Teacher Conference on Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 8:30am - 3:30pm. Students will not attend school on Thursday, February 16, 2023 and Friday, February 17, 2023. Osceola School District will be closed on Monday, February 20, 2023 for Presidents Day.

CSE / Parent Meeting
Carroll Smith Elementary will have a parent meeting on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at 9 am in the cafeteria.
This parent meeting will be about learning how to access your child's grades online through HAC, to find ways to volunteer in classrooms, and for you to ask any question you may have about our campus.

Osceola High School students receiving their first check from the Career Department and Training Institute (CDTI). The students have been working very hard to earn their own money. This on the job work experience is getting them ready to meet the demands of what local industries are looking for in an employee.
