Today, CSE first and second grade students had the opportunity to participate in an exciting ATLAS Pep Rally! During the rally, students were cheered on, encouraged, and motivated to do their very best on the ATLAS test, which begins tomorrow, April 22nd and continues on April 23rd. Each class played an active role by performing cheers, chants, and dances. Students also sang along and moved to upbeat songs focused on the importance of giving their best effort on the test. Throughout the event, students were introduced to powerful words of encouragement to help them stay focused and confident. We were especially honored to have three Seniors from our state championship basketball team to share inspiring and motivational words with our students, encouraging them to work hard and believe in themselves. Students also received uplifting encouragement from Principal Holmes centered around three key words: Focus, Try, and Believe, reminding them that they have everything they need to succeed. The pep rally was kicked off by the CSE Steppers, under the direction of Assistant Principal Bowles. Their performance energized the crowd and reinforced the message of doing their best on the ATLAS test. At the conclusion of the rally, students were celebrated in a special way as third and fourth grade students lined the hallways, cheering them on as they returned to class. This show of support created an unforgettable moment of unity and encouragement. Students were also reminded of the importance of reaching their goal of 1060. Mr. Butler and Coach Allen kept the energy high throughout the event with music and engaging crowd activities. Overall, the ATLAS Pep Rally was a powerful and positive experience that left our students feeling confident, supported, and ready to succeed! Celebrating Our CSE All-Star Students 🌟

We are proud to recognize and celebrate our outstanding CSE All-Star Students—a group of young leaders who consistently exemplify excellence in every aspect of school life.

These students have demonstrated academic excellence each and every day. Their classroom performance and assessment data reflect their commitment to learning, their strong work ethic, and their determination to succeed. Beyond academics, they shine socially—building positive relationships, showing kindness, and contributing to a supportive school environment.

Each of these students has been recognized as Student of the Month at some point during this school year—an achievement that speaks to their ongoing dedication and character.

We are especially proud to share that five of our CSE students were recently recognized by the Osceola School District School Board as All-Star Students, highlighting their exceptional accomplishments on an even broader stage.

Starting in the 2025–2026 school year, Arkansas 3rd graders must meet the state reading standard to be promoted to 4th grade. A Level 2 or higher on the ATLAS ELA Summative Assessment defines proficiency.

If a student does not meet the standard on the first attempt, additional support and a retake opportunity will be provided. Our goal is to ensure every child is reading at a level that supports long-term academic success.

Families can help by reading together daily, asking questions about what your child is learning, encouraging writing, and staying in communication with your child’s teacher. Working together, we can support every student’s literacy success!
