North/ Parent Learning Ms. Amy Schoemehl, I-Ready Consultant recently participated in North Elementary Parent/ Teacher Conferences. Parents received information on I-Ready assessments and the importance of completing assignments in the I-Ready learning paths. If you were unable to attend your child's conference, we encourage you to make an appointment with your child's teacher to discuss the recent I-Ready assessment and your child's progress. #brickbybrick

North/ Kindergarten January Perfect Attendance Congratulations to Ja'Mylah Brown and Amarion Smith for being selected for perfect attendance in January and winning a bicycle. Each month Osceola Brotherhood donates 2 bicycles to be given to students who have come to school every day in the month. Names of students who have been at school every day and have been on time are placed in a drawing each month. One boy and one girl are selected. North appreciates the partnership with the Osceola Brotherhood in making this happen each month. #brickbybrick

North/ PreK Paint Party Ms. Harris & Mrs. Taylor's pre-k class recently had a paint party on Valentine's Day. The students were working on fine motor development, color recognition, letter recognition, and using different art mediums. The end product was a gift for parents. #brickbybrick

North/ Increasing Student Engagement North Elementary teachers have been working hard to increase student engagement in all classrooms. During observations, teachers using "turn and talk" or "callbacks" had their names written on a slip of paper to be entered in a drawing for a WalMart card. Lucky winners were Mrs. Martha Musgraves and Ms. Patricia Lamar. #brickbybrick
