OHS/ September students and teacher of the month
CONGRATULATIONS TO THESE AWESOME INDIVIDUALS AT OHS!!!! For the month of September, we have our SEMINOLES OF THE MONTH and our TEACHER OF THE MONTH!!!! We're so happy for their display of good character and hard work! Senior:Kayla Cooper-Junior: Toriano Miller-Sophomore: Albreyon Love Freshman: Ka'mya Coleman Staff Member:Sgt. James Cupp. Senior Cupp entered the military on April 3rd in 1995, becoming a member of the Arkansas Army National Guard. After completing boot camp and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Leonardwood Missouri in February of 1996, he traded his tent for a hotel room key and joined the Tennessee Air National Guard on June 6th, 1996. SMSgt Cupp deployed overseas several times over his 27 year career and visited Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Bulgaria, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Germany, Spain, Italy, France, Belgium, New Foundland, Ireland, and Gibralter. His last deployment was to McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in support of Operation Allies Welcome where he helped to welcome over 15,000 Afghanistan Refugees into the United States. After he retired on June 1st, 2022, he decided that teaching AFJROTC would be a great career choice for after retirement from the military. Senior Cupp started with the Osceola High School AFJROTC in July 2022 and hit the ground running. Sgt. Bryant took him under his wing and showed him the ropes. Sgt Cupp finished his certification training at Maxwell Air Force Base over the summer and was awarded his educator License on September 6, 2023. #brickbybrick

Students will get meals, snacks, and a day full of activities for just $10 a day per child
