OHS/ JROTC
On Friday November the 3rd, Cadets and students from OHS visited "The National Cold War Center" at the former Blytheville Air Force Base. While there, the students were introduced to the "Red Tails", the Tuskegee Airmen exhibit from WWII and the Ladies of WASP (Women AirForce Service Pilots). The students learned about the segregation issues that were prevalent during that time for both groups. After viewing the video that was presented by the "Rise Above" foundation, the students go to see an actual training P-51 that was used by the Red Tails during training in Tuskegee, Alabama.
