OSD / Threat of severe weather
Tomorrow afternoon Friday, March 31, 2023, there is a threat of severe weather moving into the area close to dismissal time. Our top priority is to keep students and staff safe. If you choose to check your child(ren) out early, the early check out for Friday, March 31, 2023 will be excused. District administration will be monitoring the weather throughout the day. Please be prepared for a possible early release should it be deemed necessary based on expected weather conditions.

Happy Pi Day!
Pi Day is an annual celebration of the mathematical constant π. Pi Day is observed on March 14 since 3, 1, and 4 are the first three significant figures of π. It was founded in 1988 by Larry Shaw, an employee of the San Francisco, California science museum, the Exploratorium. It also happens to be Albert Einstein's birthday.

OSD / Band Fundraiser
The OHS Band is having a fish fry fundraiser on Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 11am-5pm at Osceola High School in the Home Economics Room. Their will be a special performance at 2pm by the Mighty Marching Seminoles Band.

Osceola School District is having Parent Teacher Conference on Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 8:30am - 3:30pm. Students will not attend school on Thursday, February 16, 2023 and Friday, February 17, 2023. Osceola School District will be closed on Monday, February 20, 2023 for Presidents Day.

OMS/National School Counseling Week
OMS would like to say thank you to our wonderful School Counselor, Terika Guy-Andrews! Counselor Andrews is a great asset to OMS. She is extremely helpful, thoughtful, and insightful. She is a beautiful person, inside and out. She meets with students daily in advisory groups and small group sessions. We love her "let's get the job done" spirit!
