Celebrating Juneteenth!
Juneteenth, observed on June 19th, commemorates the historic day in 1865 when enslaved people in Texas were finally informed of their freedom, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation. This day marks the end of slavery in the United States and is a powerful reminder of the journey toward equality and justice.
Join us in honoring African American history, culture, and contributions. Let's take this opportunity to reflect, educate, and celebrate the progress we've made and the work that still lies ahead.
Happy Juneteenth!
