During the Special Call meeting on January 25, 2024 Osceola School Board appointed Mr. Charles Webster as Interim Superintendent until further notice.
In the coming weeks Mr. Webster will hold several meetings to inform the district how the work of providing students with the best education possible will continue.

Osceola School Board members attended The Arkansas School Board Association Conference in December where Jacqueline Baker was presented The Platinum Award for attaining at least 400 hours of continuing education, and for providing superlative leadership to Osceola School Board and the Arkansas School Board Association.

Osceola Middle School students will take their i-Ready Winter Diagnostic on Thursday, January 25, 2024 and Tuesday, January 30, 2024. Please ensure your child is on time and present each day for testing.

Band Parent Meeting
The band is holding a parent meeting on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm at Osceola High School. This meeting will have several important updates to discuss students attending New Orleans trip. This will be the final parent meeting prior to the trip.

CSE/i-Ready
CSE students will take their i-Ready Winter Diagnostic beginning Wednesday, January 24th and Thursday, January 25th. Please ensure that your child is here each day for testing. Your child can even earn Seminole Bucks for extra recess time and treats when they come to school both days for testing, when they arrive on time for testing, and when they are engaged throughout their testing session.

OMS/Teacher of the Month
Osceola Middle School 8th grade teacher, Ms. Barbara Clements (pictured in the middle), was recognized during the months of November and December for being teacher of the month. Ms. Clements is serving as the 8th grade teacher for English Language Arts, Strategic Reading, and Science. Ms. Clements stays on top her instructional strategies to push her students toward success.
