Hello families! CSE will have its third quarter awards assembly on Wednesday, January 26th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Due to an increase in Covid cases throughout Mississippi County, CSE has decided to stream this assembly live and we are asking families to view the assembly at their convenience. Only students receiving an award will be in attendance. Students receiving an award will also have their picture taken. Group pictures will be posted to Facebook and individual pictures will be sent home at a later date.
As always, we thank you for your continued support and understanding.
Principal Coleman

Good evening. Families, we have a few students that don’t have their Chromebook. If you need to pick up your child’s Chromebook, I will be on campus until 6:00 p.m.
Thank you.

Brianna Thomas, 4th grade Science teacher, is CSE’s December Star Staff Member! This star is one that is determined to do a job well done but prefers not to be in the spotlight. It is my desire that we all work together; helping each other because when one shines we all shine and this star doesn’t mind helping to make CSE shine. This star is new to this ever changing world of education. Although this educational journey of highs and lows can trigger all kinds of emotions, Ms. Thomas still displays a can do and will do attitude. Keep shining your light! CSE thanks you for all of your efforts!

Good morning families! Some CSE students may not have their Chromebook. If it is safe for you to come, you are more than welcome to come by the school to pick up your child’s Chromebook. I will be here until noon. I do apologize for any inconvenience. Please be safe.

Hello families! Happy New Year! We look forward to seeing our students tomorrow! Please remind your child to bring their Chromebook back to school tomorrow. Thank you!

CSE’s Star Staff of the Month are Jeannette Houser, SPED teacher and Tony Lambert, ABBCO Staff.
Ms. Houser’s spirit glows from the inside out. I’ve observed her interaction with students and if you ever get the chance to see what I have seen you would know she is the blessing for her students. All teachers should have a passion for what they do but when you choose to work in special education there has to be true love, desire, and dedication to serve the diverse needs of students. This star works hard to improve the outcomes of all students regardless of their learning needs and she is greatly appreciated.
Mr. Lambert helps to provide a safe environment by helping to keep our campus clean, supervising students, and encouraging and helping staff throughout the building. Some of the things that this star does, nobody asks him to do but when he sees a need he just steps in…and I know I can speak for many if not each and every staff member at CSE that he is greatly appreciated for all that he does.

Just a friendly reminder that Carroll Smith will dismiss early on Friday, December 17th at 12:50 p.m.

On Friday, Oct. 29th, it was "Scare Away Drugs" (costume day) at CSE! However, our kiddos and staff were too CUTE to be scary! Just know that we are not too scared to say NO to drugs! CSE would like to thank all of the organizations for coming to help with Trunk or Treat! As always, our kiddos have soooo much fun dressing up and "trunk or treating" to get their candy. We also want to thank our supportive parents for sending candy to help make this event a success! Thank you all so very much!
