Osceola Middle School Students Are Always Up for a Sweet Challenge! Our students know that attendance matters, and they rose to the challenge in the sweetest way! 7th Grade took 1st place with an impressive 90% daily attendance! 6th Grade came in 2nd with 89% daily attendance! Opening Night at Osceola! Yesterday marked the first home baseball game of the season, and it was a night to remember! Russell Leggett, retired Athletic Director for Osceola School District, had the honor of throwing out the first pitch. The National Anthem was beautifully performed by Chrystal Hearn, setting the perfect tone for the game. The JROTC Color Guard was present, adding a special touch of tradition and respect to the evening. Thank you to everyone who came out to support our team! Watch the game live on your local PBS station! Respect game officials and their role in the game. No full face paint or masks (small logos/insignias allowed). No offensive or suggestive slogans on clothing. Stay off the playing area. No negative, demeaning, or obscene chants. Respect public property and venue equipment. Shirts are required—no bare chests. No throwing objects on the court. Indoor Venue Rules: No artificial noisemakers or handheld signs, balloons, towels, etc. School-controlled sound systems and lighting are only allowed during pregame, timeouts, halftime, and postgame. Bands are NOT allowed at regional/state tournaments. Poms are allowed only for school spirit squads.
